These cookies are so easy that I have had people with small kids tell me that they have used my recipe with them and it went down a treat! The cookies are also guilt free IMO and although they feel like a little indulgence, they're really not when you look at the basic ingredients!
I seem to be unable to eat food that isn't topped with PB or AB atm! Oops. |
Ingredients:
(Makes about 9 cookies)
(Makes about 9 cookies)
- 2 ripe bananas, mashed
- 2 cups jumbo oats
- 1tsp ground cinnamon
- 2 heaped tbsp salted PB or AB
- pinch of salt
- handful of raisins
Method:
- Mix!
- Press and shape into cookies with your hand - TOP TIP: wet your hands before doing this so that less of the mixture sticks to your hands and more of it helps to form the nice and even cookie shape
- Bake at 180 degrees for 15 minutes or until browned on top
- Remove from oven once cooked and allow to cool for 5 min on the tray before transferring to a rack - this first step ensures your cookies don't break up and the latter step ensures you don't get a soggy bottom..!
- Enjoy covered in PB or AB!
- I store these in an airtight container at room temperature for about 3 days (they don't last longer than this in our household..!)
Enjoy,
